Interval Ear Training is a highly engaging and addictive piano game that offers a fun way to develop your musical ear. This app is suitable for both experienced musicians and beginners, and it is particularly loved by music students.

To play, simply tap the "play" button to hear the interval. You can tap "replay" to listen to it again. Then, use the piano to play the interval yourself. Regular practice will help you improve your score!

For an enhanced experience, you can plug in your MIDI keyboard through the MIDI In feature (compatible with Core MIDI). If you have a music instrument app that operates in "background mode" and accepts virtual Core MIDI, you can use the MIDI Out feature to play Interval Ear Training with the sounds of that app.

Beginners can utilize the + and - keyboard range control to set the keyboard to a smaller range, such as "C, D" or "C, D, E." As you progress, you can gradually expand the range.

For more advanced players, the "Pro Settings" offer additional features. Setting "Feedback" to "Never" and enabling "Autoplay" allows for continuous playing without missing a beat. You can also challenge yourself by increasing the tempo.

The Interval Settings let you customize your training experience:

 <li>Tempo: Adjust between 60 and 320 BPM</li>
 <li>Keyboard Range: Choose from 2 to 12 notes in a major scale, with the option to change octaves</li>
 <li>Feedback: Control the display of messages for incorrect intervals</li>
 <li>Sound: Select between the built-in piano sound or the sound from a music instrument app in "background mode" and accepts virtual Core MIDI</li>
 <li>Autoplay: Toggle to automatically play the next interval without interruption</li>
 <li>Key Labels: Decide whether to display note names on white keys</li>
 <li>Allow Unison: Choose whether the same note can be played twice in a row</li>
</ul>

In addition to the basic features, the "Pro Settings" (requires in-app purchase) offer additional options:

<ul>
 <li>Scale: Access 13 major scales for training</li>
 <li>Difficulty: Select between Diatonic (recommended), Random Tonic, and Chromatic modes</li>
 <li>Length: Adjust the number of notes in each interval, ranging from 2 to 6</li>
</ul>

The difficulty settings determine the note combinations used during training. "Diatonic" utilizes notes from a major scale and is strongly recommended. "Random Tonic" selects notes from a random major scale each time. For those seeking an extreme challenge, choose "Chromatic" mode, where any combination of notes is possible, including unusual intervals like the Augmented 2nd.

The score in Interval Ear Training represents your self-progression. Tap it at any time to reset. This game has no end and the music keeps playing endlessly!
